Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications, primarily in the logistics and/or Human Resources (HR) domains.

The candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications using Oracle APEX while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions within aggressive timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Build enterprise applications supporting Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Transportation, HRMS, Payroll, Recruitment, and Employee Management processes.
  • Develop reusable components and frameworks within Oracle APEX.
  • Create responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces using APEX Universal Theme.

Database Development

  • Design and develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
  • Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
  • Implement data validation, exception handling, and business rules within the database layer.
  • Perform database troubleshooting and performance tuning.

UI/UX Development

  • Develop intuitive user experiences using APEX Themes and Templates.
  • Customize APEX pages, reports, dashboards, and interactive grids.
  • Implement responsive designs compatible across browsers and devices.
  • Work closely with business users to improve usability and workflows.

Integration & APIs

  • Develop integrations using RESTful Web Services.
  • Consume and expose APIs from Oracle APEX applications.
  • Integrate Oracle APEX applications with external systems such as ERP, HRMS, CRM, and third-party platforms.
  • Handle JSON/XML data processing.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement role-based security and authorization schemes.
  • Configure authentication mechanisms.
  • Ensure application security best practices are followed.
  • Perform code reviews and vulnerability assessments.

Support & Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Perform application upgrades and patch implementations.
  • Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.
  • Participate in release planning and deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Oracle APEX development experience.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX 19.x or higher.
  • Experience in Logistics and/or HR domain applications.
